On Friday, the organ committee, vestry, and clergy went to see a pipe organ in Dallas that is a similar size and style to one of the proposals we have received. The builder is the same as well, and he was present to answer questions and show us around the instrument. It had a beautiful sound—rich and deep and classically Anglican. It also fit the space it was in nicely and provided a visual component consistent with the style of the church. It was a very positive visit! We are now one step closer to the organ that will be right for us at St. Peter’s!
