This week, some of the members of the pipe organ committee, myself, and an organ consultant are in Darien, Connecticut to look at a used organ that is a possibility for our space. The instrument, pictured here, is a Visser-Rowland built in 1986 and is currently in its first church home. It has a more neo-Baroque style to it, and is a beautiful instrument. While the vestry has not yet made a determination as to whether we install a used or new instrument, they are also considering two proposals for new organs, one of which is a Visser also. Keep a look out here for more updates as they are available! And keep praying. This is an exciting time for St. Peter’s!
