When All Hope Seems Lost

No one expected, as they welcomed Jesus triumphantly into Jerusalem waving palm branches, that the week could end at the cross. Likewise, no one expected a few short weeks ago that the world would be thrown into its current situation. But it’s when things seem worst that God is most present. God chose the cross, and didn’t reject suffering for our sake. When all hope seems lost, that’s when God is at work in us. What might God be doing with you now?

Fr. Perry Mullins is the Rector of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in McKinney. He grew up an Episcopalian. During college and afterward, he worked in youth ministry in San Antonio and Austin, and then entered the Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest. Fr. Perry loves preaching, teaching, and outreach, and still has a heart for children’s and youth ministries. He was called to be Rector of St. Peter’s in 2017. He is married to Sarah, and they have two children.
