Fishers of People

Part of the Christian faith is allowing ourselves to be pushed out of our comfort zones. While that’s not always easy or fun, we are able to grow when God stretches us. Jesus called Peter and Andrew out of their comfort zones as fishermen. “Follow me and I will make you fishers of people,“ he said. Jesus is calling us to the same thing at St. Peter’s in McKinney, Texas in the year 2020. He has equipped us and prepared our hearts. It won’t be easy, but it will be very good. Follow him.

Fr. Perry Mullins is the Rector of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in McKinney. He grew up an Episcopalian. During college and afterward, he worked in youth ministry in San Antonio and Austin, and then entered the Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest. Fr. Perry loves preaching, teaching, and outreach, and still has a heart for children’s and youth ministries. He was called to be Rector of St. Peter’s in 2017. He is married to Sarah, and they have two children.
