Everyone Has a Story

Our shared faith history is one of stories. From the Garden of Eden to Revelation, the Bible is a revered collection of faith stories. Our own story is being written daily with our actions, our successes and our failures. It is illustrated by our words and emotions as we live out our faith. It’s important that we tell the stories of faith to our children and to those new to the faith. Otherwise, we are failing the next generations, ensuring that they may not be able to do the work God has given us to do. Tell the stories to your children and to those new to the Gospel message. Ensure that the story continues.

About The Author

Deacon Janice was ordained to the vocational diaconate in the Diocese of Nebraska in January, 2004, serving at St. Andrew's Omaha. After relocating to the Diocese of Central Florida, she served for 12 years at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Orlando, focusing on adult formation and pastoral care. Deacon Janice is a graduate of Education for Ministry (EfM) and has mentored groups for many years. At St. Peter's she works with the children and youth music ministry and organizes the Outreach efforts of the parish.
