Maundy Thursday

At the last supper, Jesus washed the feet of his disciples, and after supper, he went into the garden to pray before his arrest. At this service, we participate in a foot washing, Communion, and the traditional stripping of the altar in preparation for Good Friday.

About The Author

Mtr. Kathy Heitmann is the Associate Rector and Director of Youth Ministries. After graduating from Yale Divinity School, she served churches around the country in many different roles. She loves working with the youth and a wonderful team of youth ministry volunteers. She also enjoys teaching adults, visiting shut-ins, leading mission trips, and much more. Mtr. Kathy has two children in college, and one very energetic black lab.
