The Feast of All Saints

On Sunday, we welcomed Bishop Grant LeMarquand and his wife, Dr. Wendy, from the Horn of Africa. They taught about their ministry during the Christian formation time, and Bishop LeMarquand celebrated and preached. He spoke about the saints that make up the church, and about how we will be gathered together before God on the Last Day. The book of Revelation lists a number of characteristics of saints. What do you think makes a saint, and how can you live into your saintly calling a little bit more?

Grant and Wendy LeMarquand are missionaries to the Episcopal Area of the Horn of Africa within the 'Diocese of Egypt with North Africa and the Horn of Africa.' Grant is the Area Bishop, responsible for the Anglican churches in Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia and Ethiopia. Wendy is a physician who works in community-based health care and in prayer ministry.
